Restoration and renewal

Hillside Crescent Gardens

Our full ambitions for Hillside Crescent Gardens are contained in the Proposals for Hillside Crescent Garden Renewal, which includes the landscape design scheme, commissioned from Peter McGowan Associates (October 2010).

The plan allows for reseeding grass areas, work on mature trees, seating and litter bins and new footpaths and walkabout routes through the garden for better appreciation of the area and enjoyment of the original handsome 19th century tree plantings. It aims to encourage everyone including young families and the elderly from the neighbouring tenements to use this valuable city centre green space.
